The tall seatback of this magnificent handcrafted chair has a remarkable wingback design. Its well-padded seat and the front seatback are upholstered with dark blue, full grain leather. The leather is adorned with a decorative, gilt nail design. The front seatback is embellished with a lovely, button tufted design. The reverse seatback is upholstered with embossed, burgundy colored, full grain leather, and the upholstery is precision-tacked to the solid wood frame with gilt nails. All sides of the base of the seat are adorned with carved scroll and floral details. The chair rest on straight front legs and slightly splayed back legs.
